I have really been on a bit of a BB cream kick lately. I haven’t been wearing too much makeup but I do appreciate something on my skin as a bit of a base some mascara and a highlighter and bronzer. Oh and of course my brows filled in, lets be honest I’m not leaving the house without those done! (more…)
The Medusa mascara in Majestic is a fun and easy way to add a pop of colour to your look.
Used on its own for a subtle purple colour or layer over a white lash primer for a really intense look. This will also pump up the volume, so to speak.
The mascara wand itself is a regular sized bushy wand and easily coats all lashes to create an everyday look with a twist. Besides the gorgeous deep purple/plum colour this mascara has the price is awesome at only $8.00 each or $20.00 for three colours (green, purple and blue).
The only thing that kind of disappointed me was that its waterproof and can be harder to remove. This is a plus as it seriously doesn’t budge but not so great for everyday wear, unless of course this is something that you look for in a mascara.
So if you have been looking for a coloured mascara, or wanting to try one without spending too much money then here is your answer. (Especially if you wanted to try one after the MAC Wonder Woman collection but missed out, wanted something not in a limited edition collection or didn’t want to spend that much!)

- If you have under eye circles try not to use to much mascara on the bottom lashes as it can cast a shadow and make them appear worse.
- A quick way to add volume lashes is to give them a very light dusting of translucent powder before you use your regular mascara.
- Don’t ever pump the Mascara wand! All this does is fill the tube with air and bacteria, it also dries out the mascara quicker.
- Remember Mascara only has a life span of about 3 (three) months before it should be discarded.
