Today’s video tutorial is the look I was wearing in the Rusk Miracurl. As I mention in the video below I love dark lips and for us in the southern hemisphere its the perfect time to experiment with them. I paired the Oxblood lips with a soft cut crease eye in neutral browns to define the eye area trying not to take too much focus off the lips.
Some of my favourite bright lipsticks!

But in all seriousness I have been experiencing awesome results with the tool on not only myself but on my mothers and sisters hair as well. I’ve included a few pictures of the results from the below video and this was just on the lowest setting. I’m sitting here in my Pj’s typing this up a few days later and my hair is still curly.
In the below video (besides rambling on about how great II think it is)I show you all how easy it is to use and the Rusk Styling products I have been using as well (more…)
I actually did this DIY Fringe Skirt a little while back but kept forgetting to post it. I started seeing these fringed skirts online everywhere and decided to do a DIY. I love mine, I’ve worn it numerous times and plan on doing it to a grey maxi dress I get very little wear out of.
This will work best on a jersey material skirt as it stretches and rarely frays or splits. We are in our winter at the moment and although this really is more of a summer festival type item but this fringe skirt would look great on a long leather/pleather skirt too. (more…)
Another quick makeup look from my Silver Bullet Celebrity Triple Styler review. The eye look itself is just a very soft and smoky eye and the shadows I chose were because they are in similar tones to my eye colour, just a bit softer and definitely prettier! This is a very simple look, to vamp it up for night I would most likely add a little more liner, some fluttery lashes and neaten up my brows a bit more.
Oh and I have to mention (again) how much I’m loving the Face of Australia Illuminator in Angel Mist, not only does it look absolutely divine its under $15 bucks (remeber thats cheap in Australia) and comes in a massive 50ml tube. I’ll definitely be heading out to Priceline to grab the other colours in the range! Just be careful a little goes a very long way. use too much and you may start looking like a little illuminated alien. I was going to say disco ball but the shimmer is really fine and not chunky and glittery. (more…)
A quick face of the day that I’m calling Winter Bright’s for lack of a better name. The look was originally featured in my Silver Bullet Celebrity Triple Styler review using some Lime Crime Products that were kindly sent to me by Makeupnet.

A while back now I was sent the Silver Bullet Celebrity Curls Triple Styler and today I have some pictures of the results of each attachment.
Here are some features of the Triple Styler-
- 3 curling iron attachments: conical curling iron (13-25mm), triple barrel curling iron (19mm and 16mm), regular curling iron (25mm)
- Titanium barrels for shiny, frizz-free results
- Maximum temperature: 210°C
- Dual voltage for worldwide use
- Includes a travel pouch
Its hard to say which attachment I have been getting the most use out of as I’ve been really liking the results of all of them. One downside for me is that there is only the one heat setting, its not a big deal I just make sure I don’t hold my hair for too long as this baby gets hot!!! But all the other features are great especially the long cord, I know I always mention the cord length of a styler but my house has very few power outlets and a short cord drives me insane. The travel pouch is a great addition as the parts fit in there nicely and is surprisingly not too bulky for traveling.
The following photos are of basically using each attachment with very minimal styling afterwards but I did start off by using a heat protectant. (more…)
I have really been on a bit of a BB cream kick lately. I haven’t been wearing too much makeup but I do appreciate something on my skin as a bit of a base some mascara and a highlighter and bronzer. Oh and of course my brows filled in, lets be honest I’m not leaving the house without those done! (more…)
Finally back with a tutorial perfect for our impending winter. Really easy this studded beanie may take a little time but is the perfect accessory for the cooler months.
As you can see I decided to stud in the word whatever, that was more than likely influenced by my recent 90’s teen flick kick I’ve been on lately but you can do whatever you like!
