As soon as I first used the new curling styling tool from Rusk, the MiraCurl, I have been dying to share it with you all. I have never seen anything quite like it before, its pretty much magic!
But in all seriousness I have been experiencing awesome results with the tool on not only myself but on my mothers and sisters hair as well. I’ve included a few pictures of the results from the below video and this was just on the lowest setting. I’m sitting here in my Pj’s typing this up a few days later and my hair is still curly.
In the below video (besides rambling on about how great II think it is)I show you all how easy it is to use and the Rusk Styling products I have been using as well.
Overview
-
Hair is automatically spun into the barrel and i haven’t experienced any tugging or pulling.
-
Use a the lower heat and the shorter time settings for a looser curl and the higher settings or tighter curls.
-
The MiraCurl will beep a few times, when it beeps rapidly then its time to release the tool and let the curl out.
-
To get a longer lasting and tighter curl pin each curl up, wait to cool and spray with hairspray.
I was also supplied with a few Rusk styling products that I have been equally impressed with. The Thermal Flat Iron Spray (250g- $25.95, 50g- $9.95), the Thermal Shine Spray which has become a firm favourite (125g – $19.95) and last but not least the W8less Strong Hold Shaping and Control Hairspray (150g – $18.95, 43g- $9.95). All three products have been used quite a lot in the past month and I plan on purchasing the Thermal Shine Spray and Hairspray as soon as I run out!
The Rusk MiraCurl is available in Australia at HairHouse Warehouse stores nationally and retails at $199RRP.

Can you exclude the ends? A lot of looks call for straighter ends.
Nice posting!
I’m pretty sure you can’t, unfortunately I think you would have to go back in with a straightener. I will check for you though!

Whoah..ok that is AMAZING! No need to think too much like when I use a straightening iron to curl my hair!I’m waiting for this to go on sale though.

I saw this the other week online and was so intrigued. Im so clumsy and uncoordinated that I’m sure I’ll get my hair tangled!
The first timeI used it I was bait paranoid that was going to happen, but you seriously don’t even feel it pulling on your hair at all.
