Disclosure: As mentioned in previous posts the Rusk Thermal Shine spray and GHD were both sent to me for trial purposes.
Back with another video, (I’m on a roll this month!), and todays is on the newish GHD IV Violet Styler from the Candy Collection. I demonstrate in the video (below) a few ways how you can easily use the styler for straightening or curls. If I was actually going out I would have paid more attention to making both of the sides of the curls even but the video is meant to be more instructional than a trying to achieve a polished look (like the ones on the website). (more…)
Today’s video tutorial is the look I was wearing in the Rusk Miracurl. As I mention in the video below I love dark lips and for us in the southern hemisphere its the perfect time to experiment with them. I paired the Oxblood lips with a soft cut crease eye in neutral browns to define the eye area trying not to take too much focus off the lips.
But in all seriousness I have been experiencing awesome results with the tool on not only myself but on my mothers and sisters hair as well. I’ve included a few pictures of the results from the below video and this was just on the lowest setting. I’m sitting here in my Pj’s typing this up a few days later and my hair is still curly.
In the below video (besides rambling on about how great II think it is)I show you all how easy it is to use and the Rusk Styling products I have been using as well (more…)
Back with a wearable makeup look tutorial for an easy brown smoky eye with a pop of colour using some products that were sent to me from Fashion Addict and some others I already had. Before I post the video I thought I’d list what I used. As usual you don’t need to have all of these products to create the look but its good to be able to compare shades. The look is fairly budget friendly too which is always a bonus in my opinion! (more…)
Recently I posted my review of the new to Australia L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil for all hair types that I did as a part of the BeautyHeaven Trial Team and I thought I would share it here today.
Thank you for watching, I hope you are all having a great weekend.
Disclosure, the oil was sent to me by BeautyHeaven for review purposes.
Disclosure: Product sent for review.
Last year I had the chance to review the VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler and made two tutorials on how to use it both on long and short hair. Well today I’m back with the new model VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler 1000.
Instead of showing you how to use it like I did in my two previous video’s I thought I’d show you how I re-fresh 2nd or 3rd day hair because the new version works pretty much exactly like the old just with some cool new improvements.
Back with another hair style tutorial this time for a Twisted Fake Dread Up Do using some Wella products one being the new Bold Move styling paste, which is something you would generally use on shorter hair but I wanted to do something a bit ‘different. The look is a twisted up do that was originally inspired by a Chanel runway look I instantly fell in love with as soon as I saw it. This isn’t an exact re-creation there are a few differences but as you all know I am kind of in love with any style that’s a bit on the messier side. I will warn you though this isn’t a look that’s going to just brush out you will definitely have to wash your hair afterwards but I think its worth it!
To create this look I used NAK Dry Shampoo, Wella Bold Move (pictured left) and Wella Finishing spray. Now onto the tutorial!
I still might not be around much, currently moving house and the internet wont be connected for about 2 weeks. Might still be able to post but not 100% sure.
Wella Bold Move and Finishing Spray were both provided for review/trial purposes.
