Studded Beanie DIY–a tutorial

Finally back with a tutorial perfect for our impending winter. Really easy this studded beanie may take a little time but is the perfect accessory for the cooler months.

As you can see I decided to stud in the word whatever, that was more than likely influenced by my recent 90’s teen flick kick I’ve been on lately but you can do whatever you like!

If you are using screw ins like me don’t tighten the screws completely till the end in case you want to make some adjustments. Oh and also these are solid metal studs which can get a little heavy you may want to stich a few areas to keep the beanie folded up right.Studded Beanie DIY tutorial whatever 90s grunge

Brown Smoky Eye with a Pop of Colour for Fashion Addict–product’s and pictures

fashion addict look brown smoky eye product photos

Back with a  wearable makeup look tutorial for an easy brown smoky eye with a pop of colour using some products that were sent to me from Fashion Addict and some others I already had. Before I post the video I thought I’d list what I used. As usual you don’t need to have all of these products to create the look but its good to be able to compare shades. The look is fairly budget friendly too which is always a bonus in my opinion!

Products:

Blonde BYS Brow & Eye Pencil

Maybelline Eyestudio (Glamour Browns)

BYS Automatic Eye Pencil (Jade)

BYS 01 Chameleon of Colour (can’t find the product link)

Illamasqua Disobey (bronzer/contour)

Illamasqua Tremble Blusher

Maybelline Superstay 24hr Colour Never Ending Pearl

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Trick

BYS Eyelashes (Lash Envy)

Kick it Side Hedwig Lash

Off camera I also used:

Lime Crime Eyeshadow helper

Face Of Australia Illuminator Angel Mist

Mehron HD Foundation

Illamasqua Powder Foundation

Unfortunately I didn’t get any finished look still shots but you should be able to see just fine in the video.

So onto the tutorial.

Thanks for watching, I’d love it if your liked and shared!

Lipstick–Steps to a Longer Lasting Pout!

The following pictorial is something I have actually been meaning to do for a while but it always seemed to slip my mind. But after being gifted the Adderton Maya Liner and Russian Lipstick at Beauty Bloggers Utopia I though they might be the perfect products to use for this look!

As you can see I am using a red liner and lipstick combination but this is the same method I use for any lipstick, unless of course its a formula like the Makeup Forever Aqua Rouge where you apply the liquid lip, wait to dry then apply the gloss.

New! VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler 1000

Last year I had the chance to review the VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler and made two tutorials on how to use it both on long and short hair. Well today I’m back with the new model VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler 1000.

Instead of showing you how to use it like I did in my two previous video’s I thought I’d show you how I re-fresh 2nd or 3rd day hair because the new version works pretty much exactly like the old just with some cool new improvements.

Soft Smoky Eye a Tutorial

Back with another pictorial, (kind of really loving these lately). But this time its for a soft smoky eye (or smokey?) . Products will be listed under the pictorial. One thing I forgot to add below was that if you want your eye’s to ‘wing up’ kind of like a cat eye don’t slope the eyeshadow in the crease like I have, ‘pull’ it up towards you temple instead.

So lets get started on the Smoky Eye, shall weSoft smoky eye smokey

Dots and Stripes- Easy Nail Art Tutorial

Nail art can sometimes be a bit too tricky at home for me but with the help of some cheap striping tape and dotting tools it really is easy (I bought both from eBay for under $5!).

The colour combinations for this is endless but I am really loving the two lighter grey/ lavenders (they are almost opaque after 1 coat, 2 is perfect!) from the Essie winter collection I got sent a while and decided to pair them with a white.

For a white cheap polish this one actually performs a lot better than I was expecting. It retails around the $3-4 mark and isn’t as thick as some other cheap whites I’ve tried.

I finished off with the Australis top coat which I am loving over every single polish I’ve tried it with, I wish I could capture the gorgeous flakies but my photography skills really aren’t that great to begin with. I promise I am really trying to take better shots but some days I just really suck!

OK, enough of me rambling onto the pictorial!Dots and Stripes nail tutorial
