Silver Bullet Celebrity Curls Triple Styler

A while back now I was sent the Silver Bullet Celebrity Curls Triple Styler and today I have some pictures of the results of each attachment.

silver bullet celebrity curls triple styler package

Here are some features of the Triple Styler-

  • 3 curling iron attachments: conical curling iron (13-25mm), triple barrel curling iron (19mm and 16mm), regular curling iron (25mm)
  • Titanium barrels for shiny, frizz-free results
  • Maximum temperature: 210°C
  • Dual voltage for worldwide use
  • Includes a travel pouch

Its hard to say which attachment I have been getting the most use out of as I’ve been really liking the results of all of them. One downside for me is that there is only the one heat setting, its not a big deal I just make sure I don’t hold my hair for too long as this baby gets hot!!! But all the other features are great especially the long cord, I know I always mention the cord length of a styler but my house has very few power outlets and a short cord drives me insane. The travel pouch is a great addition as the parts fit in there nicely and is surprisingly not too bulky for traveling.

The following photos are of basically using each attachment with very minimal styling afterwards but I did start off by using a heat protectant. (more…)

skin79 products from mybbcream.com

I have really been on a bit of a BB cream kick lately. I haven’t been wearing too much makeup but I do appreciate something on my skin as a bit of a base some mascara and a highlighter and bronzer. Oh and of course my brows filled in, lets be honest I’m not leaving the house without those done! (more…)

PMD Microdermabrasion at home –a review

You may have read the title and thought why the hell is she doing, microdermabrasion at home….? .As you all know I do love do it yourself projects but I would usually rather a professional treating any major skin issues. But I was just too damn curious about the PMD to pass up the offer of reviewing one of the devices.microdermabrasion at home pmd device and replacement discs

Before the PMD arrived I read as many reviews as I could find, watched The Doctors segment and a few other videos and became more and more excited to trial the device. I mean I did come across a few reviews that didn’t rate it highly but from what I could tell from the instructions I had also read a lot of these were more than likely due to them having too sensitive skin, using it more than once a week or holding the device on for too long. Philips Lumea Precision Plus IPL

Today I have a rather exciting product to give you an overview of and my impressions so far, the Philips Lumea Precision Plus IPL hair removal system.

philips lumea precision plus packaging

I am one of those girls that don’t mind waxing, I have gotten used to the pain but I will avoid it as much as possible as I really dislike waiting for the hair to become long enough to wax again. So I usually end up shaving, which is fast but still annoying because I’m also one of those people with extremely fast hair growth (on my legs at least) and could probably shave everyday. So when the opportunity to trial the new Philips Lumea Precision Plus IPL was offered to me I literally jumped at the chance. I have tried IPL before so I already knew what the process was like and I was pretty comfortable with the idea. (more…)

NEW Total Intensity Eye Shadows by Prestige

packaging prestige total intensity shadows

Prestige launched the new High Impact Total Intensity Shadows Australia wide today (27th Sept 2012).

As the name suggests these shadows are certainly pigmented but also buttery soft and have been a dream to blend! They can be used dry or wet for a more intense colour payoff, so far I’ve only used them dry as the colour payoff for me has been amazing as is.

L to R – Black Magic, Hocus Pocus, Hypnotized, Obsession, Addiction, Bewitched, Crave and Spellbound.

Oh and did I mention they are duo chromes?!? So the Total Intensity Shadows give off this gorgeous multi-colour almost wet looking glow. There are no matte in this collection so to wear I have been blending them out and using my face powder as my highlight, (also great way to blur edges if you go too full on with them). Wear wise there hasn’t been a problem, I’ve still been using a eyeshadow primer underneath, (but I do with all shadows as a precaution anyway). But no creasing or fading issues that I’ve noticed.

If I had to pick a favourite it would have to be Hocus Pocus, its a stunning almost brownish shade that blends out to a kind of burnt colour which gleams green. (Oh my describing skills are severely lacking today it seems!) I’d definitely suggest going into a store and swatching them, they are even prettier than what they look in the photo’s. (These were pretty hard for me to capture).

You can see me wearing Hocus Pocus and Bewitched HERE in my soft smoky eye tutorial, or Hocus Pocus, Spellbound and Crave HERE in my latest volume for hair tutorial. There will be more just need to get better snaps!

Packaging wise they also tick all the boxes for me, they open and close easily and look quite sleek.
